The CRAAP Test
(click to downloaD)

Let's talk about CRAAP... the CRAAP Test, that is.

Originally developed by the good people from Meriam Library at California State University-Chico, the CRAAP test is an excellent way to help you determine the validity of a source (and its information) as you gather your research.

While you do not need to complete one for articles accessed through the school databases, you do need to go through this process for any website you wish to use. In order to access the quality information necessary for a good research paper, it is essential that you take the time to answer the important question... "Does it pass the CRAAP test?"
