(1) Go through the PDF “Overture - Lecture Notes” in the Musical Theatre folder and take some notes. The list of names are important people to be aware of, but we will look more closely at the influential figures most relevant to our area of study.
(2) Watch the video below, “Sondheim on Writing,” and take some notes on key ideas he discusses, then move on to (3)
