Theatre Management Project - Theatre Company

PART D - Planning & Promoting Your Production
Once you have your season picked out (a total of at least 4 shows), you need to decide which show will be the "inaugural" production of your theatre company. Be sure you are able to articulate why this play/musical stands out above the rest...
With your first show selected, it's now time to plan your production by answering some of the important questions you will need to address as the core decision-makers of your theatre company. These questions include (but are not limited to)...
How will the overall production process work?
How can you obtain the performance rights to this show?
What will it cost?
What is the typical length of a rehearsal process for your type of show?
How many months will your show run?
Who will be involved onstage and off?
How much will they need to be paid?
Use the resources below to help you gather a better understanding of the staffing/casting costs of the show. If you find additional/better resources online, keep track of the citation information and share it with Mr. M.!
